Biography
Stefan Ivić is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, where he teaches courses related to numerical methods, computer simulations, and optimizations in mechanical engineering and computer science studies. His research focuses on simulation-based optimization, algorithms, and applications of ergodic control. He leads the project “Autonomous UAV System for Search and Rescue at Sea,” funded by the Croatian Science Foundation. The project revolves around ergodic control algorithms for UAVs and simulations of sea surface current dynamics.
