Biography

Asst. Prof. Mišo Mudrić, PhD, teaches at the Department for Maritime and Transport Law. He is an arbitrator for the Croatian Chamber of Economy. He gained his PhD degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Hamburg in 2013, having received a stipend from the Max Planck Institute for comparative and international private law in Hamburg. He is the General secretary of the Croatian Association for Insurance Law, which he also founded. He is vice president of the Croatian Association of Maritime Law and the executive editor of the international scientific and expert journal “The International Transport Law Review”, published by the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law. Mišo is a member of the “Reformulation of the Lex Maritima” work group, The Comite Maritime International (CMI), the “Maritime Law for Unmanned Ships” and “Systems for Security Practitioners” work groups, Migration and Home Affairs Directorate General, Innovation and Industry for Security, and the Executive board of the MARSAFENET Cost action IS1105 project. He has organized over a dozen international scientific and expert conferences, published over 60 publications (including two authored monographs and two monograph chapters), has held lectures in over 40 domestic and international scientific and expert conferences, has been a reviewer for many domestic and foreign publishers (monographs and journals), acted as a guest editor for domestic journals and has organized a number of expert workshops.
