Biography
Matija Srbić graduated with great honour (Magna cum laude) in 2016 from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (UniZg-FER). Based on his awarded research, he founded his startup in 2016 where he was in the role of CEO for 3 years. Since 2019 he is working as a program director of UniZg-FER’s start-up incubator SPOCK and as an Innovation startup ecosystem coordinator at Innovation Centre Nikola Tesla (ICENT). He coordinates the Erasmus+ project „Crossing the Gap: Startup education and support for PhD students, researchers and scientists (COGSTEPS)“ and works on the organisation of different entrepreneurship and technology transfer programs. In 2022 he started a new program for cooperation between academia, researchers and startups called Nuqleus. He is a startup mentor focused on ideation, pitching and networking.
