Goran Gasparovic

Goran Gašparović, Dipl. Ing. Computer Science, Ph.D. Candidate Mechanical Engineering, University of Split and Alpha Sagittarius d.o.o. Born in Split, 1983. Currently a project researcher at University of Split, Croatia. Goran is the lead R&D Engineer with Alpha Sagittarius, a provider of UAS solutions from Split, Croatia, and its Aero-Navis Systems UAS branch. Before co-founding Aero-Navis Systems, previous positions included a study visit to ETH Power Systems Laboratory, Switzerland. From there, he has worked on several projects related to energy systems optimization, electric mobility, and energy efficiency, under the scope of HrZZ and IEE Europe at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval, Zagreb, Energy Engineering Department. Goran has worked in Ericsson Nikola Tesla Research & Innovation Department, executing several data analytics projects for telecommunications industry. Finally, from 2018 he is involved in developing multi-purpose modular, autonomous unmanned aerial systems with Aero-Navis. Author of over 20 scientific publications, and reviewer for multiple scientific journals since 2013. Proven project application consultant. Current interests are systems engineering, data analytics, computer vision, automation, and aerospace engineering.
