Dr. Joachim Edel

Joachim Edel studied aeronautical engineering and achieved his doctorate in innovation and technology management. He worked five years in the heart of aviation-related innovation activities in Hamburg before joining Frequentis. At Frequentis, Joachim works in the New Business Development department heading some of the centralised innovation activities of Frequentis Group. Seconded by Frequentis, he was managing director of AIRlabs Austria – a nationwide innovation laboratory for drones in Austria. His focus on drones is constant since 2010.
