Biography
Damir Bezik is an Aviation Safety Inspector in the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency, the competent civil aviation authority of the Republic of Croatia. He is in charge of the certification and continued safety oversight of aircraft operators, including operators of unmanned aircraft systems. He is one of the authors of the national regulation on unmanned aircraft systems operations and other national legislation in the field of civil aviation. He actively represents the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency in international meetings, workshops and conferences and is full team member of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) operations standardisation inspections. He is also involved in international cooperation support projects for underdeveloped civil aviation authorities around the world by providing consultancy and training services. With his just under 30 years of international experience, his expertise covers ground and flight operations in airlines and aerodromes, air traffic control, international aviation organisations and an inspector’s position in a state regulatory body.
