LARICS at MBZIRC 2020
The talk will cover the LARICS competitive robotics journey, beginning at the European Robotics Challenges (EuRoC), via the European Robotics League (ERL), culminating with the Mohamed Bin Zayed International Robotics Challenge (MBZIRC). With focus on the most recent event, an overview of challenges from the MBZIRC will be given and our approach to solving them will be presented along with the results we achieved. The discussion of our approach will cover both the equipment we used, the software we developed and people behind the development. The talk will be concluded with assessment of the impact the participation in competitions had on the development of LARICS expertise with autonomous aerial and ground systems.
