Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences (FTTS) is part of University of Zagreb and the leading higher education and research institution in the field of aeronautics and air transport in Croatia. Department of Aeronautics, a part of the Faculty, is operating an Approved Training Organization for pilots according to EASA standards (Part FCL, Part 145) for Commercial Pilot Licence level with a fleet of five aircraft. Also, it is issued an ATCO Training Organization Certificate for air traffic controllers training (EC 2015/340). FTTS has 20 laboratories with five of those supporting the Department of Aeronautics, namely, Aerodynamics Laboratory, Air Traffic Control Laboratory, Flight Simulation Laboratory, Laboratory for Testing in Aeronautical Engineering and Laboratory for Aircraft Emissions. All five laboratories are collaborating on transversal topics including the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
