HUBS – the Croatian Unmanned Systems Association is an organization consisting of volunteers and experts from various fields, who want to use their skills and knowledge to contribute to the development of and activities related to unmanned aerial systems. The Association was established in order to allow interested parties to educate and promote safety through cooperation, as well as to talk about safe use of unmanned systems in Croatia and in the world. This lecture will present the Association, the membership programme and its advantages, the Association’s activities and plans for the future. Increasing the level of safety when operating unmanned aerial systems is important for the Association, as is taking part in the processes of improving the legal framework in Croatia, all of which is done in accordance with the development and advancement of technology and world trends. HUBS members strive to become the central informational platform for all things related to unmanned systems, all in order to provide maximum support for all those who wish to advance this ever-growing globally active and attractive field. This is why the Association is working hard on raising awareness about safe ways of using unmanned aerial systems for commercial and recreational purposes, and also on developing the legal framework to raise the level of safety, eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy and to achieve the optimal use of unmanned systems, which is what the lecture will be about.

This lecture will be held in Croatian.
