Drones as robot co-workers

The need for efficiency in industry has motivated the massive incorporation of TIC technologies in industrial processes, what has been called Industry 4.0. Aerial robots have traditionally been used for gathering information, such as pictures or videos. Their capability to perform physical tasks and physically interact with their environment and with people has still not been well researched. This lecture will focus on the integration of aerial robots as coworkers in a set of potential applications, also addressing topics such as safety, perception, and actuation capabilities, among others.
